One of the first BI Gold partners of Microsoft

IKAN Consulting is proud to announce its Gold Partnership with Microsoft. We achieved this highest partnership level last month. This means we are now part of the very select group of Microsoft BI technology specialists.

The Gold Partnership endorses our far-reaching knowledge of Microsoft BI products. The privileged support and access to resources that this partnership provides will enable us to gain even more experience at a higher level and so improve the support we offer our customers.

Microsoft has invested a lot in its BI product portfolio and the release of Office 2007 means a complete end-to-end BI platform is now available. For the back-end, SQL Server 2005 organizes relational and olap data. To analyze these data, end-users can use the tool they are familiar with: Excel. Moreover, reports (Excel, Reporting Services, ProClarity or Business Scorecard Manager) can also be accessed and analyzed from a portal built with Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server.

A CPM application will be launched next year to supplement this BI platform: Office PerformancePoint Server 2007.

Our consultants manage the Microsoft platform completely and have implemented various customer solutions that combine and integrate all the various tools.

Furthermore, we are also working very closely together with Microsoft on data mining techniques. SQL Server 2005 offers an extensive set of data mining functionality. This complements our knowledge of Microsoft products perfectly.

Corsio, a cooperation between Ikan Consulting and B&M Consulting

On nov 22, 2005 both organisation have publicly announced the start of a joint venture, named Corsio.  This organisation will focus on CPM (corporate performance management) solutions for large organisations and government institues. Visit our website www.corsio.com

As a result of the continuous growth and of the two–year anniversary of Ikan Consulting, we increased our focus on further professionalisation of our website.

On the site more attention is given to our innovative services as well as to HR recruitment since there has been a fast increase of employees since our start.
We have also developped in cooperation with a professional marketing agency a new corporate brochure with clear positioning of our offerings, as well as the cooperation with external partners such as Microsoft, Business Objects and others.
